INGBank Implements Veripark's Payment Infrastructure 'PaymentHub' to Improve Turnaround Times

At financial institutions, payment transactions require a rugged operating and a management system with a solid infrastructure to provide a seamless service to its customers.

In order to provide an innovative and fast service to its customers, INGBank decided to implement VeriPark's payment center solution 'PaymentHub' for integration with utility service companies such as water, electricity and natural gas.

PaymentHub, a state of the art payment center infrastructure, provides an easy, centralized two-way connection to manage and track payment transactions between INGBank's clients and utility service companies via a single infrastructure and interface.

Requests from banking systems such as inquiry, payment and order are forwarded to the related utility service company with an online message conversion and the replies received from the organization are forwarded to the bank in the same way on PaymentHub. Reconciliation infrastructure, an important property of PaymentHub, crosschecks transaction summaries of the bank with data obtained from the utility service companies whether reconciliation is maintained, and if not, maintains reconciliation by examining the transaction details. With the asynchronous support of the product, both the banking system as well as the utility service company is immediately notified.

PaymentHub, with Microsoft Biztalk and ESB Toolkit, enables the addition of new utility service companies to the payment infrastructure easily by simple mapping due to its advanced parametric structure.

By partnering with Veripark, INGBank aims to integrate utility service companies online in a seamless, efficient way to be able to provide an easy, timely service to its customers.
